Finally!! It has been nearly 3 months to the day since I started, and I've lost over 25 pounds to date. Here are my 3 month measurement results:

Next measurements (#3): May 2009?

Notes: Well in my first 3 months I have lost about 25 pounds (as of my last weigh-in) and after adding up all of these numbers I have also lost 19.75"!!! YAY!!! I'm finally seeing some progress - not on my stomach though apparently, which annoys me - so, all good for now. Hopefully I will have more inch and pound losses to come! =)

Quick Update

Alrighty, update time! Well I've been doing good lately. Slow but steady. I really want to check my measurements now, if I can find my measuring tape, or buy a new one today. Because....it's been 3 months and 25 pounds since I started! So I hope some inches have come off by now. =)
Today is also (finally!) grocery day, so my guy and I are going to pick up some lean meats, veggies, some sandwich fixings, and some fast lunch options. Should be good to have nice food in the house and make some new things for dinner. Well I'm off to find something to eat, and search for that elusive measuring tape, lol. Until next time...!

But, I am trying to stay near 2000 still, only to 2200 if I'm really hungry, which is only fair, I don't think depriving myself is a good thing to do, but I'd be very happy if I can still stick to my original goal of 2000 as long as I'm losing weight each week.

My 299 in 299 Challenge!!!

My "299 in 299" Challenge!!

GOAL: To reach 299lbs in 299 days!

STARTING DATE: January 12th 2009
END DATE: November 7th 2009

STARTING WEIGHT: 365.6
POUNDS TO LOSE IN 299 DAYS: 66.6 (approx. 1.6lbs/week)

Here's how it will work:
I will check in with a special update post after my normal weekly weigh-in, but for this I will check in 4 times, here is when:
March 23rd 2009 (10 weeks in)
June 1st 2009 (20 weeks in)
August 10th 2009 (30 weeks in)
November 7th 2009 (42 weeks + 5 days in...aka 299 days in!)
I will also be taking my measurements today and probably posting them up, so those will be redone on Day 299 to check my progress as well!
Now, I know 1.6lbs a week doesn't seem that difficult...but averaging 1.6lbs a week every week for nearly a year...that's another thing, LOL. So, please wish me luck!! I hope I can do this! I will see you for an update in 10 weeks! :-D

Last Word: Yay, a loss!! It's weird that when I start eating a little higher calories that that's when I lose weight, lol. But as I've said before, no matter how bummed out I get, I WON'T STOP! I will get healthly, slowly but surely. I'm sooo very happy that I lost 3 pounds this week, yay!! :-D

Last Word: What?!?!?!?!?! I GAINED?!?!? Ugh, this is really getting to me now, I don't know what to do. I was under 2000 everyday except for an extra 650-900 calories for New Years Eve...which isn't anywhere near enough to undo the other 6 days of work AND make me gain a pound. Why am I not losing?? I'm staying under 2000! This is really getting me down now, ugh, this sucks. Sigh...

*I had maybe...2900 calories today, if I were to guess. So, I'm at par, no real calorie defecit, but no gain either.

Notes: Well, I allowed myself to have a few drinks and some snacks for New Years Eve because I (for the first time in my whole life!!!) went to a party!!!! OMG...it was the best time of my life! That might sound lame, but it was awesome! John and I had sooooo much fun! ^^ So, I think after 40 days on plan - including Christmas! - that me enjoying my night without any stresses of counting calories, worrying about how many grams I ate, etc, was due. This will NOT happen on just any occasion though, it was a special night for me in more ways than one. I don't regret it at all, life wise or food wise. So, Happy New Year everyone!! Be happy! Tonight I sure as hell am! :-D
